Alan Jackson

Immediately after signing his first recording contract in June of 1989, Alan Jackson went directly to the studio where he recorded what would become his first four hits. “Chasin’ That Neon Rainbow, “Wanted”, “Here In The Real World”, and this one, which would become his first #1 hit.

Alan Jackson is not only a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, he was also inducted into the National Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in 2018. Alan got the inspiration for this song one night when he couldn’t sleep. It would win a Grammy and Song of the Year.

Alan has made no secret of his motto to “Always Keep It Country.” As both a singer and songwriter, he says his heroes include Hank Williams, Merle Haggard and Don Williams. He would take the Don Williams song “It Must Be Love” to #1 on the country charts in 2000.
