The Grand Ole Opry’s 95th anniversary is being celebrated this weekend with a new NBC special. “Grand Ole Opry: 95 Years of Country Music,” hosted by Blake Shelton and Brad Paisley, airs Sunday.
The special will feature performances recorded at the Grand Ole Opry, with a lineup that includes Garth Brooks, Old Crow Medicine Show, Dolly Parton, Darius Rucker, Marty Stuart, Carrie Underwood and Trisha Yearwood. Also on the show, Dierks Bentley, Lady A and Little Big Town. Kane Brown will make his Grand Ole Opry debut.
It’s already been confirmed that Kelsea Ballerini will sing Keith Whitley’s “When You Say Nothing At All,” Dierks and Marty will duet on Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson’s “Pancho & Lefty,” and Lady A will share their take on Randy Travis’ “Forever and Ever, Amen.”
