Friday would have been John Lennon’s 80th birthday and to mark the occasion several artists took to social media to share their take on Lennon songs, including Willie Nelson
Willie was joined by his sons Lukas and Micah, and their band Promise of the Real, for a cover of the “Double Fantasy” track “Watching The Wheels.”
Other artists to offer up Lennon covers for his birthday include son Sean Lennon, who tackled “Isolation,” Jeff Tweedy, who covered “God,” Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, who covered “Jealous Guy” and more.
