The Band Perry are taking a break from each other – at least for a while.
On the band’s socials yesterday, the siblings said, “We wanted to let you know that the three of us have decided to take a creative break as a group and each focus on our individual creative pursuits. During this season, we will continue to support each other as artist and family in all we do.” They also expressed gratitude to their fans for supporting them through every step of their career. “Thank you for making our childhood dreams come true!” the Band Perry add, signing their note as “Kimberly, Reid and Neil.”
The band hit with a splash on the country charts with their debut single, “Hip To My Heart” in 2009, scoring four #1 singles in the next five years. They then decided to branch out into other genres – a move that backfired, killing their country career and never getting them much traction on the pop side of things either.
