Garth Brooks is participating in a panel discussion about ticket prices and scalping at the 34th annual Pollstar Live! conference. The conference takes place on February 22nd in Los Angeles and will be moderated by Irving Azoff, who is known as a music business tycoon.
The discussion will cover topics like ticket scalping, fans being ripped off when buying tickets, and how the resale market has negatively impacted fans. The conference will also feature other discussions and panels, such as one about 50 Years of Live Hip-Hop and another between members of the bands Mumford and Sons and Brian Teasley.
The issue of high ticket prices has been brought to the attention of politicians, including President Biden, who have promised to take action against companies like Ticketmaster. As we reported before, Brooks has previously said that the issue with ticket prices lies with ticket scalpers, not Ticketmaster.
