Keith Urban has made a move that’s become popular among huge musical artists in recent years. Urban has sold the master recordings of 10 of his studio albums and a greatest hits compilation to Litmus Music, a new organization backed by Carlyle Global Credit.
Urban has racked up 21 number-one hits on “Billboard’s” Country Airplay chart in his career, and the deal with Litmus doesn’t just include those; the partnership includes future recordings. Urban’s in good company; Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, and Brad Paisley have all sold at least part of their master recordings.
