Wynonna Judd sat down with “CBS Sunday Morning” for her first interview since her mother Naomi’s suicide, and she admits she feels “incredibly angry” about her mother’s death, especially as she continues to wonder what she could have done to help.
On Friday, Wy kicks off what was supposed to be The Judds final tour, and she’s still figuring out how to deal with her mother not being there.
“As I walk out on stage that first night, I’ll probably say something like, ‘It’s not supposed to be like this,’ because it’s not, right?,” she says. “It’s supposed to be the two of us. And I’m gonna be angry because she’s not there.”
Why also discussed her relationship with sister Ashley, noting they are “so united right now, I think more so than we have been in a long time.”
